Forged steel crosses are used to connect tubes and tube fittings. They are placed on the main tube where the branch is needed, and the subsequent cross can be classified into an equal cross or an unequal cross. The equal cross features ends that are the same diameter, and the unequal cross features an identical diameter for the 2 main ends, while the diameter of the branch end is smaller than the main ends.
